• Talk a patient through a video visit, and explain portal messages and refills.

1. 我想请专科医生再看看，多一个专家的意见。Wǒ xiǎng qǐng zhuān kē yī shēng zài kàn kan, duō yí ge zhuān jiā de yì jiàn.I’d like a specialist to see you too, for an expert opinion.
2. 转诊不一定说明情况严重。Zhuǎn zhěn bù yí dìng shuō míng qíng kuàng yán zhòng.A referral doesn’t necessarily mean it’s serious.
3. 他们会打电话给您约时间。如果两个星期还没消息，请告诉我们。Tā men huì dǎ diàn huà gěi nín yuē shí jiān. Rú guǒ liǎng ge xīng qī hái méi xiāo xi, qǐng gào su wǒ men.They’ll call to set a time. No word in two weeks? Let us know.
4. 如果没有好转，不用等到下次，随时打电话。Rú guǒ méi yǒu hǎo zhuǎn, bú yòng děng dào xià cì, suí shí dǎ diàn huà.Not getting better? Don’t wait for the next visit. Call any time.
5. 我还是您的家庭医生，看完专科再回来找我。Wǒ hái shi nín de jiā tíng yī shēng, kàn wán zhuān kē zài huí lai zhǎo wǒ.I’m still your family doctor: come back after the specialist.
6. 两周后回来复诊。Liǎng zhōu hòu huí lai fù zhěn.Come back for a follow-up in two weeks.
7. 下次可以视频看诊，不用跑一趟。Xià cì kě yǐ shì pín kàn zhěn, bú yòng pǎo yí tàng.Next time, a video visit can save you the trip.
8. 不急的问题，可以在病人网站上给我们留言。Bù jí de wèn tí, kě yǐ zài bìng rén wǎng zhàn shàng gěi wǒ men liú yán.Non-urgent questions: message us in the portal.
9. 很严重的，比如胸口疼、喘不上气、说话不清楚、半边身子没力气，马上打911，别自己开车。Hěn yán zhòng de, bǐ rú xiōng kǒu téng, chuǎn bu shàng qì, shuō huà bù qīng chu, bàn biān shēn zi méi lì qi, mǎ shàng dǎ jiǔ yāo yāo, bié zì jǐ kāi chē.Chest pain, trouble breathing, slurred speech, one side weak: call 911. Don’t drive.
10. 我们会请专业翻译，免费的。Wǒ men huì qǐng zhuān yè fān yì, miǎn fèi de.We’ll have a professional interpreter, free of charge (US: most clinics).
